"Questions for World Change"

By considering (the law of) karma in this light, whether or not we believe so much in the universal/ cosmological implications as taught by various eastern faiths (including multiple lifetimes), we may update the average westerner's understanding of karma - from that of simply the "carrot and stick" of the easterner's universe. And may do so in the light of it's higher purpose: *to facilitate an understanding of God/Higher Power, via understanding the Divine Parent/Child relationship, via the learning of the highest forms of Love & Compassion in accordance with the Highest Loving Will of the Highest Loving Power over as many lifetimes as it takes.* We may contrast this with the more immediate gratification-granting concepts of "heaven" & "hell". And thereby might broaden and deepen our understanding of Mankind's purpose, individually as well as collectively, and in the larger context of karma, as God's instruction to Humanity as children, to effect that all things find balance "in the end". Hence the question of whether "we are ready" to re-evaluate culture, history, political direction in the light of this perspective on karma, to unite in our determination to set and accomplish realistic goals towards healing mankind and the planet. Focusing Love & "Prayers for Transforming Nuclear Radiation"
[two prayers, 4/6/11, improved 4/10 ]
"Dr Masaru Emoto, the premiere Japanese scientist and water researcher, is asking all citizens of Mother Earth to focus with intent to transform the dangerous nuclear problem that is continuing to develop in Japan. High amounts of radiation has contaminated large amounts of water at one of the power plants and is starting to get into the environment." - Dr Emoto's message at Emoto Peace Project. This request led me to put together two graphic prayers, one in the words of Dr. Emoto, the other in the invocation format often used here.
Dr. Emoto is the author of "The Hidden Messages in Water" which documents his research showing that focusing attitudes, most notably, that of Love, made incredible differences in the shape and structure of water and snowflake molecules. He inspired the "Water-Charging -Group-Fired- Healing Technique" (by yours truly), which is about group-directed healing towards an individual's cells, and is described in "Notes on Beliefs, Healing, and Prayer". [Note: I believe similar activities in focus (ie: of love and appreciation) may be applied for improving the process/ performance of most any element or biological component or system, not to mention air quality. cp, 1-12-12]
Dr. Emoto's approach here (with radiated water) honors the healing relationships that we can build (or build upon) between our environment, our bodies, and our minds. Feel free, of course, to add in healing intention for other areas in the world effected by nuclear radiation.

We are watching a GREAT MOMENT in history - For Democracy in All the World leading up to year 2012, of course. Such COURAGE by the people of Egypt! And Thank YOU, People of Tunisia, and all others in the Great Synchronicity of the Present! "Invocation for True Representation of Middle-Eastern Peoples"
( Version 4, 2/14/11, Rev'd 2/16/11, 2/21/11, 11/16/11 )
| This is virtually the same prayer as for the for Egyptian peoples (see above), with exception of wording appropriate to cover the many peoples of the Middle East that have been working for change toward more democratic rule. Including those not represented by this version's flags - for Syria, Yemen, Tunisia, Egypt, Morocco, Lybia, Jordan, Iran, Lebanon, Kurdistan, Barain & Algeria (in that order, left to right and down, with Bahrain & Algeria over center, high & low, all ordered as much by capacity for each flag's recognition as by any other aspect). Some of these nations have endured intense warfare or other violence - which is not what these prayers call for. And yet esoteric views may differ as to the "Highest Loving Will of God", particularly with regard to consideration of the history of human evolution, and what is inevitable or un-necessary for certain aspects of our growth in the long term. |
This Version 4 (11/16/11) comes late, with my apologies for my tardiness as needed to the people of Syria & Algeria. The previous versions since the 1st having the flags updated, were based on events as they transpired. For this version, I at first replaced the Barainian flag with Syria's, then realized I could still effectively render the chart with 12 suitably sized flags (vs 10), placing two over the center line, one high, one low. Kurdistan is included as it still fights to retain it's flag & establish it's national status. It is acknowledged here that the Palestinians have suffered long and hard, as have the people of Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, and Turkmenistan, all working in their own varied ways to find leadership that meets their highest needs. We don't hear much yet, at least in the Western news media, of any citizen struggle in Saudi Arabia, Oman, or Arab Emirates. |

"Invocation for Vision for World Healing" (5/19/07)
William Tiller, Ph.D. calls it "like pumping iron" - referring to the *practice,* the building of the muscles of affirmation and vision for fine-hewning the art and science of creating what you want. There are many other inspiring caches of wisdom in "What the Bleep - Down the Rabbit Hole." But this one got me to finally create an invocation that is almost totally about affirming our highest potentials, and our current capacities to develop them. And especially one (invocation or prayer) that I felt could be most applied to the evolvement of citizens and governments - not just for ensuring we sustain the planet's basic livability, but also it's and our enjoyability. I know, the list seems daunting at first, but remember, the first step is just to SEE it. It ALL happens by increments and thresholds attained over time. "All" here includes increasingly clearer understandings of individual parts. Besides, Tiller, one of my main guys for backup for the "yes, we can" part of it, is the editor of 2 scientific journals, publisher of more than 250 scientific papers and three technical books, and has five patents issued. And he is only one of a number of well established scientists who are telling us that such practice will make a difference - if we individually apply the science. And as for the incredibly(?) powerful group applications, check out John Hagelin, Ph.D., also of 'Bleep.' He researches and teaches more about "educational programs that develop human consciousness, and [that] through policies and programs that effectively harness the laws of nature, it is possible to solve acute social problems and enhance governmental effectiveness." There's more about 'Bleep science' in a section of it's own below ("ON SCIENCE & CONSCIOUSNESS, Added May'07").

"Beliefs in Potential <=> Transition" (12/11/08)
This mandala (or visual prayer) might also be called "All Beliefs in Transition," and is about believing in our capacities to see and make the best of opportunities now and into our future - no matter the degree to which President Obama leads us and inspires us into such an era. The elements depicted represent (parts in) ALL of US, and not just Barrack Obama or any other (human or divine) personage. Information for the "Happy New Year & New Era" greeting card (with this mandala on the cover) is a little further below.

Text around the frame: "...we approach the world's problems politically and spiritually, internally and externally, and ... the Eagle recedes, the Dove proceeds, as the Owl see's through the darkness... OUR relationship with our Earth Mother clarifies as we realize our own interconnectedness..."
Symbology:
The Eagle has dropped most of his arrows, & looks to his right where the talon holds the olive branch. O'Kelly McCluskey inspired the design of these two elements during the logo design process for vUSPA.Org (virtual US Peace Academy). The Eagle is also faded, while the Dove flies into the light and radiates Light. The 'all-seeing' Owl is manteled or yoked with a vortex of violet light to clarify & maintain the intention of spiritual transformation. The actual arrangement of the creed logos was done for the purpose of circling them as closely together as possible.

St. Anthony Prayer for Finding Connectedness and Healing
St. Anthony is well known for helping us find things we've lost or forgotten. And so much about healing is remembering and reconnecting. This prayer is very much about healing of many things. And reconnecting with who we most truly are, or at least can be, and the finer attributes and qualities that go along with that. Some would call it the Higher Self or Christ Self, while others would call it that state where we resonate best with the Higher Power. In any case, I hope St. Anthony ("St. Tony" to some) would appreciate a higher calling than finding lost car keys now and then, and perhaps enjoy helping us with the requests in the below prayer as well. If you are able to zoom in on this prayersheet, you'll be able see cell-like detail in the deeper background - for helping to visualize healing at the cellular level.

"Connecting Resources for the Economy" vers.2
(a resource access prayer flow-chart)
This is a much improved version of the 2008 prayer chart just further below, with elaboration in many sections, as well as the actual petition style prayer on the left side. Further below you'll also find Tips for working with charts and focus (by the "Connecting Resources for Accomplishment via Prayer" (7'06)
In this version I also wanted to take into consideration certain characteristics of those elected officials actually piecing together the parts of the to-be-working economy, calling for them to be ideally focused. As in the previous version, I retained some emphesis on the element of gratitude. And in recognition of our impatience with the current state of affairs, I added some emphesis for "rapid facilitation and flow of energy" as well as focus for "Community Empowerment Strategies, ...Sustainability, and ...a Healthy state of Employment", etc. ["Representation" line & Background rev'd 1/22/11]
The question remains: is it material or is it the ethical enhancement we are calling for? A refocusing on the transformation of more permanent aspects within individuals most involved? Or most effected? One restatement of the economic situation to be healed, IMO: "Work needs to be done in/for the continued provision and distribution of products and services. Plentiful resources ARE (already) available for all needs to be met and for all work that needs be done. Hence: appropriate *re-distribution* of resources would be one of the primary goals to be accomplished, w/o delay and w/o undue concern for profit". Nonetheless, Please feel free to focus with your own specific intent as you feel so directed.

"Connecting Resources for Accomplishment via Prayer" (7/13/06)

Below is a kind of sketch - kind of like a flash card, or a reminder of key focus points, all arranged in a kind of more-or-less logical flow chart. It's the initial rough drawing, but friends liked it as is, so here you go.
 Tips For Working With Charts:
In case you didn't know, you're not supposed to *get* charts (of the multi-concept variety) all at once in the first glance - unless you're a genius of some sort, or extremely intuitive, or both. For the rest of us, first, you grasp the nature of the individual components, then you take note of the arrangement(s), getting a feel for the connections and flow paths, focusing in, focusing out, as needed.
As you begin working with the chart -as a vehicle for focusing your prayer- You may occasionally find yourself getting glimpses and/or a feel of how those elements (diagrammed in the chart) connect with each other in "the real world".
For me, at least, creating and using such charts are a lot more interesting than a crossword puzzle. I often will alternate my focus between one of the upper sets of lists or phrases, then read "Accomplished," emphasizing it in my mind as an affirmation. Which is one of the key elements of each of the prayers on this page, of course. Then I might go for two or three of the upper sets before that emphasis. And on different days, other things stand out for emphasis. Definitely a play-by-ear thing for me (-oh wait, or is it play by eye? ;-).

In this 11th prayer, there is more use of the Flower & Tree of Life archetypes and a perspective born, perhaps, out of the playful creativity of the nature spirits. "The Great Invocation [1935] on a Sacred Geometry Background"
The Great Invocation was given to the world via Alice Bailey, by the Master Djwal Kul in 1935-45, and via "the combined Ashrams of the Masters and by the entire Hierarchy... It will serve to integrate the two great centers: the Hierarchy and Humanity, and to relate them both in a new and dynamic manner to the center where the Will of God is known." (-Alice Bailey in *The Rays and the Initiations*)
The addition of a 'new symbol,' (provided Spring 2003 for meditators worldwide by Meditation Groups, Inc.), seemed a timely incentive to create a geo-backed format for this prayer. All of the prayers on this page are placed on a particular kind of graphic format, although each has a different style. The Broad Spectrum World Healing Prayer is the oldest, with the wording pretty much developed in Nov of 2001, the geometrics assembled over the years previous to that, but with a new coloring mandala just recently added for the deeper background. There's actually an ancient science behind how such prayers or invocations "work," although the actual use of such graphic formats for this is only about 60 years old. (So far as we know for sure anyway -- a likely exception to this might be the Tibetan, Navaho, and Hopi Shamans' use of sand paintings. There are many other striking similarities among those three cultures, by the way.)
Sacred geometry aside, I also believe strongly that the effectiveness of any prayer can be increased (perhaps multiplicatively), depending on how many people (and to what degree) invest energy/intent/faith into the activation of, and maintenance of personal acknowledgement of, a prayer. On the other hand, my intuition would have me not not surprised if the geometric aspect of the prayer enhanced the multiplicative effect - due to the matrix that is visually perceivable in such geometries, and thereby provided a "carrier" effect, which would also be projected along with the verbal and/or conceptual meanings.
And this is aside from the symbols inherent in such geometries, which also serve as carriers of meaning or purpose. The symbols arising from Sacred Geometry are relatively "pure form;" that is honoring of the most basic divine principles, particularly that of balance and wholeness of being. I elaborate more on the symbols and meanings at the Home Page for Body-Mind-Chalice Integration (and related artwork). Essentially, the chalice, far more than just a cup in this interpretation, is about the human embodiment of Spirit into the three "lower bodies" (mental, emotional, and physical) which compose the "Body-Mind". Which is also serves in the balancing and integrating of Humanity with the Divine - individually and communally.)
Notes on Text of Prayers
The "Questions" prayer, made Jan 26 2003, was designed to be more easy to read (compared to the much longer "Broad Spectrum World Healing Prayer." It features an additional new concept besides that of the sacred geometry background: affirmative questions. The first three paragraphs of this prayer provide a kind of preamble to briefly explain the concept (just by context) and prepare the reader for the rest of the prayer. If that makes you more curious about how or why the questions actually work - in prayer, invocation or affirmation - you might enjoy "The Use Of Questions (and Gestalt approach) In Effective Affirmation Therapy - Theory and Examples for Practical Application".
The wording of the "Broad Spectrum World Healing Prayer" was revised September 2002 (from January 2001) to be more effective. While not very poetic sounding, it's carried by a comprehensive, "leave no loopholes" approach, and might even remind one of a legal document. That is because it is designed for effectiveness -- while very carefully acknowledging of the power of how this type of prayer works. And because the axiom, "Be careful what you pray for, since you just might get it" very much applies here. The wording for the Media Healing Prayer came more recently, and carries a much less complex focus. There are fewer words so the text could be made larger, and so the reading of it should flow much more smoothly. The Archangel Michael Middle-East Prayer, which came along much later in April 2004, is even more simplified in wording.
Suggestions for Use:
"Pre-read" each prayer enough that you can then meditate and contemplate the meaning of the prayer, getting an idea, perhaps a visual image, of what you and the Divine are going to do by/with it. But don't try to "lock that image in" too much, since trust of the Divine to know best is important, of course. Being open to further clarification - during the prayer itself - of what is needed to be prayed for, or what is needed to be asked about, is especially helpful for all concerned in the case of the first prayer, with the affirmative questions. You may also want to allow some non-focused gazing at the overall visual or graphic so as to just get a feeling from that, especially if that helps bring about a mode that serves your highest purpose here. Thus sufficiently prepared, read the prayer off the prayer sheet aloud, and tap it in the center with your right hand. One does all this in whatever way that enhances one's feeling of meaningful connection, for the purposes of a) calling the Divine's attention to the prayer, and b) then commissioning the Divine to attend to the implementation of that called for in the invocation. One repeats this as often as one feels it necessary to effectively activate and/or maintain the effectiveness of the prayer. Eg: let your Higher Self lead you in all the above, including changing any of it that feels right to do so. Tips For Working With Charts: In case you didn't know, you're not supposed to *get* charts (of the multi-concept variety) all at once in the first glance - unless you're a genius of some sort, or extremely intuitive, or both. For the rest of us, first, you grasp the nature of the individual components, then you take note the arrangement(s), getting a feel for the connections and flow paths, focusing in, focusing out, as needed. (You may occassionally find yourself getting a feel of how those elements connect in "the real world" - the one that that you are praying/invoking with at the time.) For me, at least, creating and using charts are a lot more interesting than a crossword puzzle. On different days, other things stand out for emphesis. Definitely a play-by-ear thing for me.

Tips for Downloading, Opening, and Printing Files
The easiest way I've found for downloading a graphic is, when viewing in your browser, simply right-click on the graphic, click on "Save Picture as," give the pic a name if one isn't automatically suggested, and notice which folder you save it too (ie: "C:\My Documents"). Note: Most (non-tech) people will find most everything they've saved in the "My Documents" folder. Generally the file will be saved as "jpg" or "gif" or occasionally you will see "pdf" - when in doubt, choose "jpg."
Did you know that you can also right-click on the links to files and pages and then click "save as..." to download a file? However, when saving web pages this way you don't get the pics on them, just the text. Otherwise, for Downloading, this makes things much easier than most other ways. AND if you want to print out this whole page as is, you will probably get the graphic files split out over two pages. Which is fine, but that way of doing it will likely also reduce the quality of print for the graphics. The notes below are mainly for printing out the graphic files individually.

Printing TIPS
The notes below are mainly for printing out the graphic files individually. If you want to print out this whole page as is, you will probably get the graphic files split out over two pages. Which is fine, but that way of doing it will likely also reduce the quality of print for the graphics. I will make PDF versions as I receive requests for them - I will then put them at the site and add links by the individual prayers for opening or downloading them.
Opening & Printing Downloaded Files from Windows explorer: [In General, For JPG's and other graphic files and when you are limited in graphic program skills. Note: this paragraph does NOT apply to PDF's.] Some people have their computer set up so that when you can double click on a graphic file(s) and it will be loaded into one of your graphic programs or into your browser where you can print it out from, usually via the "file" menu. Otherwise (at least in XP), I have found that when you double click on a graphic file it will bring the picture up in a view window. Click the printer icon at the bottom, and after clicking "next" a few times you'll get to the "Layout Selection" dialog box with a "Print Preview" thumbnail. From there it will print what you see there. In some cases, you may need to play with your printer setup settings. Ideally the settings will let you see a thumbnail of the file and adjust it's scale so the graphic fits the page before printing each file. Maintaining the original size will help greatly with the quality of print-out. The thing to watch for is maintaining the proportions, which is the height to width or "aspect ratio": when given the box to check, Do Maintain Aspect Ratio.
For best results with colors and clarity for all these pics, use high quality (heavy Matte or photo, 36# or better) paper (the more detail, the better it "works" ?). It would be easiest to save the pictures as graphic files separate from the web page, and print them individually as graphic files (vrs trying to print out the web page). this is because the top picture is set in "portrait" orientation, and the other is set in Landscape orientation.
For less wet prints; more clean and clear on very plain/low weight paper (for less ink use): I've found that by going into the print setup's "advanced" settings, I can adjust the Brightness to max and the various colors to minimum, and it won't soak even the cheapest paper. I can vary that (and the Contrast and Saturation settings) some for more/less ink use - the Brightness setting seems to have *by far* the most effect in that regard. No doubt each model of printer is different, but you might have some luck with that.
Most prayers here print best as full letter page size in portrait orientation. Most are Hi-quality jpg's (converted from 1MB or more at about 250dpi to 96dpi, then compressed about 10%) to end up with a 200-400 KB file, roughly 8" wide by 10.5" high.
For the wide, landscape-oriented prayer pictures (including the Broad Spectrum World Healing Prayer), you will get a better print-out in "Landscape" orientation. The size and page settings for these files on this page have been revised (reduced) for better appearance in your browser - the size is set to fit smaller monitors with their browsers. You may contact me (as noted below) For higher quality printouts, or jpg or pdf versions of these - making the text much easier to read while you enjoy the subtleties in background graphics.
Printing trouble with JPGs - fuzzy edges or text, etc: Daz the trouble with jpgs especially if you don't size it on your page the exact same size it was made, and that's why pdfs are much better for printing. Pdf's make it easy for non-techies to print although they also take a bit more energy for the graphic designer to output, and for you to download. An even better way to make the flyer viewer think we are amateurs putting on a cheap show is to print flyers from thumbnails:
Printing trouble with Thumbnails: They aren't meant to be printed any other size than what they are. So if you do, it just stretches them out and you get a lot of pixilation (pixels spread too far apart), resulting in a very very poor quality of picture.
PDF Printing Notes: On your own printer you can print color PDF's as greyscale or color: If you go greyscale, you're more likely to get a better greyscale print from a color-outputted pdf than you would from a greyscale-outputted PDF. At least this is true when the blacks are blacker from a color-outputted PDF. FONT Changes: Sometimes the fonts don't print out correctly with PDFs because you don't have the font that was used. That can result in text being spread over other text or is too large/small, etc. And that shouldn't happen with these since (for projects that I do for public use) the fonts are either extremely common or converted to graphics.
More Specifics with PDF (Adobe Reader) Prints: a) For the "Page Scaling" choosing "none" (which I recommend to try first) insures that BORDERS that are set to less than 1/2" will be maintained. Otherwise the default is "fit to printable area" - which seems to mean 1/2" whether your printer will handle smaller borders or not. I also recommend Check (yes) for "Auto Rotate and Center."
"A Global Climate Healing Fantasy and the Spirit of It All" v3 - 2 page PDF for Print: PDFs for this prayer have been made for those whose printers WILL NOT do 22" prints: Download 4 mb 96dpi PDF or Download 32 mb 300dpi PDF [right-click, choose save as]. Both of these are hi-quality, but 300 dpi brings much more to quality paper prints. Both are sized to print on two pages, then to cut the top border off page 2, then tape/paste that onto bottom of page 1. Please see above "PDF Printing Notes."

ON SCIENCE, CONSCIOUSNESS, & WORLD CHANGE [May '07, Jan '09]
I have been (returned to) studying up on some things, thanks to the makers of "What the Bleep Do We Know" (at WhatTheBleep.Com). And more recently (Jan '09) I am reminded of HeartMath.Org with their promotion of the "De-Stress Kit for the Changing Times." Some might say that both 'Bleep' and 'HeartMath' began with what I'll call "The Tao of Physics Clan" of Fritjof Capra (of the 70's-80's era of published studies & thought) as well as "the Bleep Clan" of Fred Alan Wolfe, the academically most esteemed members of which integrated the knowledge for this much needed production. Through these efforts, IMHO, they offer ground breaking implications for mankind, for our victory over the current period of challenge to world community, re-initiating possibilities for survival into the 22nd Century.
Most any psychologist or naturopath (or most any M.D.) will tell you that the most difficult thing for any human to do is break a habit, whether physical, emotional, or mental. Or as the 'Bleep' folks put it, "Nerve cells that fire together wire together, but Nerve cells that don't fire together -- or loose their long-term relationship by our interuppting that and observing the effect, then we break the automatic response mechanisms it takes, and then are free to be there for us as we are fully present with each experience" [close paraphrase, -cp]. One way of defining any world problem (by cause and effect) is its association with one or more addictions (drugs, violence, denial, etc), relative to it's association with things that create beneficial effect (upon oneself, others, or situations.
Breaking habits is exactly the potential of what I call the "Bleep Tool Kit": those things (methodologies, practices, attendant devices if/when appropriate) that provide the capability to break habits on every level, whether personal or interpersonal, community or inter-community, and whether just conceived or fully manifested. Creation of our individual and community habit-breaking tool kits depends on the investment of time and application of principle - via the focus of one or more people. IMO, that's the first half of 'World change' - the other half is the personal and communal application of the tools.
| The "De-Stress Kit" provides much for initiating healing on the personal level, with great potential for assisting development of inner stillness and clarity. Such benefits can certainly, even naturally, expand to most every communal context. The HeartMath.Org web site is rich with fun tools for self-assessment and quickly introducing body, mind, and emotional health. It also provides FAQ's and voluminous research reports and related links & references. [Please note: as far as I know, there is no formal relationship between HeartMath.Org and WhatTheBleep.Com; I am associating them by common function - tools for conscious personal & world change. I consider their kit a valuable, perhaps essential, part of the "Bleep Tool Kit" - as I would any system(s) that does the same for an individual, actually. In you want to get really serious about such a tool kit, I would suggest integrating Chi-Gung, yoga, and a well-formed 'power-of-spoken-word' system with all the above. -cp] |

Remember *TM* (Transcendental Meditation) - and it's effectiveness upon whole communities ? Once the media made it all about the person (the guru), and not about the function and capability - for anyone who wanted to invest the time and energy ...well, at that point the potential was neutralized - until 'Bleep' resurrected the offer (with a much more grounded yet far-reaching platform). And I don't mean to imply that 'Bleep' is all about such serious things. It's as fun as it is intellectually stimulating, even as "wondrous," as it pulls together and makes understandable so many realms of knowledge in a practical way, including the quantum physics that backs it all up!
All that (study, focus, etc) has effected my professional work as well as most every outlook on life. That effect began during my studies into consciousness in the mid 70's, much more in the later 80's. However, that has dramatically increased recently as I've only begun to realize the (far more) integrated picture (with the implied potentials) that I attempt a useful summary of in the above paragraphs. Mind-Body Memory Research & the Core of Preventative Medicine ?
One of my main dreams is a society where/in everyone, beginning in childhood, is taught how to feel/see/read their own body-mind communications such that preventative health maintenance eventually becomes second nature. That would then be part of our upbringing and public schooling. Sample benefit: Over time we would learn to channel our initial stress response into channels more creative than that of fight or flight. And actually, much of this "adrenal response" has been shown to be a learned response, and not necessarily innate. Hence, we would be encouraged to re-awaken and build upon what I believe to be a natural inclination and inner knowing - conscious self-healing and continuous expansion of awareness.) This vision was born out of what I saw to be one of the most wonderful potentials for (should we find scientific basis underlying) the original Fascia Memory theory ('94-'95), which was published at the Future Health .Org site in June'96. |
| The theory developed as related background research references and bibliography were found and listed at the "Fascia-based Memory Storage System Theory" page at my site. From here The Fascia-Memory Project developed. Which is about Research and Development into the relationships among connective tissue (fascia), objective/subjective experience, the neuro-physical interface between emotion, and the brain, and "body-memory." About developing connective tissue scanning devices and diagnostics hardware for discerning and illustrating all that. Goals include the developing optimal means for applying that R&D in health care practice, as well as enhanced systems for individual development of body-awareness for preventative health maintenance. A long term project, of course, but intermediate goals and sub-projects could have considerable effective change. The range of application extends from the medical industry to personal home use, to public education, to social and correctional rehabilitation. But if we get through all that, one of the many noted benefits include "... The original paper was email published in Nov '95 on listserv@intuition.org (Institute of Noetic Sciences) and Spiramed@sjuvm.stjohns.Edu. Yes, *1995* - So I guess the "system" I used was not so bad (based on the "Seven Phases of Evolution," as recently detailed on that page). Some intuition did enter in between that system and the "if this, then this" logic - scans of original notes with hand-drawn flow-charts included, but I've never called this "a prophecy," but a percieved spiritual challenge with potentially great rewards - an opportunity for taking responsibility. Even so: That 10 year 'prep' period has become NOW - wherein so much is being determined about how and how soon we begin this next age - or if we do before the planet (otherwise) overhauls itself. But remember "that spaceship" that's going to save us ?  Well, IMO, the pilots are none other than ourselves - as our Earth-Steward selves that is. So, IF it happens, not to worry, we won't miss a minute of it -- IMO, God wouldn't deprive us of the realization that we are so capable! (And responsible. Or don't we want to earn our way ?!) |

What's WRONG with this picture?
(And, yes, what's also right with it?) What about how we (most folks) relate to the archetype of Knighthood? BIG HINT: What if I said "Spiritual battles are to be fought within?". And how many people (not just guys) relate that archetype (consciously or unconsciously) to their self-image as related to military service? Granted, I could think of far far worse archetypes for someone bent on going to war - ie: those unassociated with such attributes as chivalry. And what does "the Holy Grail" represent? (more about "balance" than extremism perhaps?) There is a story about how a former Marine (guess who ;-) came to different perspective on this.

Why Politics at all?
My Love/Hate Relationship with Politics
(Note: that's "with", not "for".)
Question: Is politics the place to learn about empowerment on the earth plane, when it comes to making any difference in the evolution of our species? Or is the state of governmental affairs just an extension only of certain parts of us? Maybe it is where so many learn (Love-Wisdom) BECAUSE it is also one of the most heart-breaking realms to delve into(?)
Yes, the political world is repleat with opportunities for being/feeling disillusioned and/or betrayed, and (psychologically) faced with the choices of a) forgiving, healing, and continuing in service, or b) dropping out and rationalizing that choice with one of the many excuses that are called "spiritual." And how many of we "soft Americans" have sufficient strength to maintain awareness of the more difficult realities, to work to improve conditions, AND (after being knocked off the horse, get back on and) maintain a kind and compassionate approach every day?
HOWEVER, for those of us so idealistic to try: As we focus on the ideal we draw near and close the gap between that reflected universe that we know mirrors our highest potentials, and the universe that we have tended to "see" around us. And so doing we recreate the universe we live in more like that highest reflection.
"Which is the dream?" asks the Shaman.
Another Question: Call me a "pragmatic idealist," but politically and pragmatically speaking, how is it that we maintain our awareness in "both worlds" - so as to see the best pathway between them, and create our own individual *realistic* goals, and from there our communal *realistic* goals, and achieve them along that pathway? HOW CAN WE GET BEYOND what seems to be the current or impending "Doom & Gloom" scenario orientation?
Hence the challenge of integrating our emotional bodies and (with) our spiritual bodies: Is that not one of our spiritual opportunities while living in a body? If we are not the only species in the universe, and if the wiser ones were visiting us to teach their kids about the evolution of living beings, would they wonder if this integration was what our species was created for? Or is that just another projection of ego ? One possible assist in such considerations and "paradoxical delemnas" is the Goal Chart page, "Achievement of Goals, Attainment, And the Role of Inner Work - A Flow Chart of the Human Psyche in..."

A more metaphorical approach is put forth in " 'The Lords of Culture' and Listening - A story about Language, Relationship, and the Body-Mind Split - An Anthropology of Intelligence & Paradigms in Context" (and Emotional Intelligence) in the "Pragmatic Balance" section of at the Chalice Art & Science Integration page. Also in that section is "Teach The Truth, And Change Will Come From Within" (with a title that paraphrases my best teachers, and this means change will come from within the teacher as well as those taught). "A Re-balancing Transition Process for Healing
Government, the Economy, and the Global Warming Crisis":
One could say that medical over-categorization has led people to be bigoted and "extremist" towards their medical conditions. This can apply to political conditions, whether they be *called* capitalistic, socialistic, communistic, right-wing or leftist (especially while the defining or labeling of various political strategies can be so controversial in itself). As in medicine, finding and maintaining the right balance of elements in any governing system requires an unprejudiced and objective analysis. That includes the appreciation of (the diversity of) the proper place and role of almost every type of strategy and mechanism ever used in history, all considered in the context of each their settings (era, place, and circumstance), in order to develop what will work optimally for any current circumstance. And then a "Diet" is prescribed to facilitate transition to and maintenance for the truly workable system. Easy? Of course not, certainly given these requirements for transition: Time for integration of what we've learned mentally, and for healing much of what we've learned emotionally (in the "school of hard knocks") for necessary realizations regarding relationships (with self, others, Higher Power as applies), values, purpose, direction. If these don't apply, then it could only be easier

Why these "Poly-Psy" charts and essays?
Because our government has been greatly influenced by the (Pre-Obama Era) 60-80% of the citizens NOT participating. We (speaking of Americans over the last five centuries or so) have allowed/created our current condition -- in terms of various attitudes, beliefs, and values - and some interesting times wherein we re-defined certain values. And this implies, therapeutically speaking, we can therefore can *heal* our socio-political condition by changing those attitudes and re-clarifying some values over more time. That implies potential for a form of continuing *preventative health maintenance* curriculum at schools and colleges. Call me a "pragmatic idealist," but I BELIEVE WE CAN GET BEYOND what seems to be a current or impending "Doom & Gloom" scenario orientation? Paradigm shift tension, anyone? How much are we ready for? But doesn't every writer asks that question - or just those who want us to "bridge" - to encourage exploration of our potentials and what we perceive as our limitations?
Many writers note the incredible degree of short memory and denial that has been going on in America. Perhaps that is because we have wanted so strongly, even tenaciously, to believe in our "good guy" image of ourselves - certainly more than we want to acknowledge our attachment to our standard of living. I believe it essential to the planet, considering the power of the United States, that the citizenry wake up, suffer the inevitable heartbreak, get a hold of ourselves and heal that, get real AND learn to use our anger constructively, and get in charge of what we can be proud of, and create much more of same. Hence, the essay "Trends, Memory, Tracking, Trust, and Forgiveness".

ABOUT THE SYMBOLIC ART: The symbols for the "Chalice" - or Holy Grail - that I often use are drawn essentially from ancient archetypes - including the symbol(s) composing what is known as "The Star of David," which symbols actually pre-date(s) any such reference by many centuries or more. They all have their own rich meanings as related to the spiritual dilemma or paradox, balancing or synthesis of qualities (such as Yin & Yang), and healing transformation. Here, the Chalice is essentially a "cauldron" for the balancing and integrating of Humanity with the Divine - individually and communally. The "Chalice-Star" over the three traveling magi is used in my Solstice or Christmas Card design to represent our quest - in this earthly dimension of body, mind, and spirit - for the inner-most Source of one's spirit and faith -- whether that would be the Inner Christ, Inner Buddha, Inner Mohammed, or the Divine Mother's Spirit connecting All Life, etc. You may find out the actual origins of my relationship with these archetypes at Home Page for Body-Mind-Chalice Integration (and related artwork).

I began my studies in multi-level self-healing when in the service, in Thailand in the Winter of '73. The focus then was on self-help psychology, consciousness, and eastern and western mystical perspectives. This continued through my university studies in Norman, OK '74-'79. 1980 took me into naturopathic studies, primarily nutrition and herbology when I lived in Oklahoma City. Not seeing the naturopathic doctor route as affordable at the time, I found direction via a five-evening massage course, Fall '83. That led to a six month professional practice, followed up with the training in Sante Fe, NM, '84-'85 (detailed in my on-line brochure).
Since then I have practiced massage and/or healing facilitation for others, initially in Santa Fe, NM (during/after my training), then San Louis Obispo, CA, and Seattle, WA (with more courses along the way). This includes exploring personal challenges and self-healing methodology. A session may include various energy-body-work modalities, Body/Energy-Awareness based Preventative Health Maintenance Instruction, Cyclist Therapy, office stress treatments (in a chair), or only Reiki or relaxation work in total silence. A client chooses based on whatever stress, pain, or concerns are present at that session. A client may request a "Body Pattern Reading," as well as various massage/bodywork therapies, all of which techniques are listed & described in the Body-Mind Integration Therapies Brochure. Individual, program, and 3-6 week interval-based rates are available. Testimonials are available (on a separate page).
My professional interests have primarily centered in three areas:
1) Body-Centered Psycho-Spiritual Process (as in "Hakomi" style of) counseling and bodywork, including as assessing an individual for the most efficient means of addressing connective tissue injury, short and long term (on physical and/or emotional levels). Related are the basic hows & whys of storage & release of tension and "body memory" in the muscles and fascia. And in the fascia memory storage dynamics - referring to the technical aspects of neuro-physical interface between connective tissue, emotion, and the brain);
2) "Chalice-Bridging" style chakra balancing, including Reiki (energy work) - based in the view that we each are a bridge between Father & Mother God/dess, & thus form a chalice for the balancing & integrating of Humanity with the Divine. Or at least ideally so, as our systems are *attuned* & our batteries are *charged* & we fullfill our true role as human embodiments of Spirit.
3) Therapy for Cyclists and other athletes, related injuries, and preventative maintenance. In April 2011 I responded to a request to offer Century Ride Packages (pre & post 100+ mile rides). My experience with cyclists at that point, including for minor and major injuries, tallied to over 1200 hrs. |

My training includes
Over 1700 hours of classes and practicum, including with the New Mexico Academy of Massage and Advanced Healing Arts in Santa Fe, NM (1984-85), and with various accredited bodywork and therapy workshops (`86-present), as well as 100 hours training with the Alchemical Hypnotherapy Institute (1989), over 100 hrs apprenticeship with healing practitioner Robert "Mitra" (`85-`86), 150 hours apprenticeship with Silena Heron in Herbal Studies (`83-`84), Training, Certification, & Empowerment as Reiki Master (3rd Degree Johrei, 1991; Kundalini Reiki to 9th Level w/Gtunmo & Devic Template, 2004). Personal Notes or Quotes on Body-Mind Awareness [ cp, 12'07 ]
BODY-MIND AWARENESS, at the core of preventive health awareness, is one of the most simple, efficacious, & cost-effective forms of HEALTH INSURANCE there can be. Hence, massage is far from just "a luxury item," and bodywork therapies can be indispensable for the healing of certain conditions.
MUSCLES RELATE TO ATTACHMENTS - to what we use to take our stance, to hold our place, to perceive and respond to our environment, and to extend who we are and/or want to be. Or used to be (in too many cases, perhaps).
That speaks not only to the body's condition and function, but to how it communicates awareness of where one is along one's path (of becoming who one truly is).
THE BODY IS . . . among other amazing things, a unique communications system -- intimately linked with one's TOTALITY.
Establishing rapport with one's body can be a PATH to self realization.
ONE OF MY DREAMS is a society where/in all children are taught how to feel/see/read their own body-mind communications such that preventive health maintenance eventually becomes second nature. And actually, for the most part, they would be encouraged to re-awaken and build upon what I believe to be a NATURAL INCLINATION - conscious self-healing and continuous expansion of awareness.
And the above goes FOR ALL OTHER ALTERNATIVE THERAPIES, to the degree that one utilizes them to improve such awareness and causative/pro-active connection with one's body-mind, and to employ the most effective tools for maintaining/improving one's health under any given condition or circumstance.
WHY DOES BODY AWARENESS = OPTIMUM HEALTH INSURANCE ?
And How does "Body-Parenting" relate to that in Body-Mind Integration ?
