There are Some Highly Suggested Studies & Activities for vUSPA enrollees. Along with your enrollment with the v. U.S. Peace Academy, these will serve well in the purpose of documentation of your intentions about service in the path of peace. They are listed in the James George Peterson Library, Suggested Studies & Activities Section.


 

vUSPA Student Enrollment

Until we have an enrollment form at the web site, please follow these suggestions

          The primary information we need you to give to us for student enrollment is: Full Name, Address, Phone, email address, Age, Parent's or Guardian's name and contact information. Given that much information -- unless you think there's many enrollees with the same name and age where you are from -- you/we should have no trouble proving that you are the one that signed up, if ever should be needed in the future. And we do NOT want you to send really private ID info over the net, or even in the mail at this point.
          If you haven't already, please check out and consider the list of things you can do to document your intentions on the James George Peterson Library page: Suggested Studies & Activities for vUSPA enrollees, which Includes "3 Easy Steps for *documenting intentions* in Conscientious Objection to Military Vocations." O'Kelly McCluskey can make further suggestions, I'm sure, as can the C.O. counselors via the Links for Awareness in Conscientious Objection, also on the James George Peterson Library page.
          You may certainly enroll before you accomplish these suggested activities. And if you like what you find here, please help spread the word about the v. U.S. Peace Academy with your friends, fellow students, and associates.

          The following enrollees have chosen to pursue alternatives in peace, to take advantage of resources and connections to institutions of higher learning for lasting global peace, to become highly skilled professionals in the ART of Peace, to help inspire the creation of the *real* U.S. Peace Academy. In so utilizing this site, these enrollees are also creating a vital and permanent record of their sincere desire and choice to learn and wage the arts of peace, rather than the art of war as taught at the military academies.

          We have decided that the future listing of enrollees will include only the enrollees' names.
If/when the enrollee needs to document his/her registration with a recruiter,
other government organization, or another school, etc, we will assist in that process.

 Artistic rendering of concepts & ideals as related to Purpose and eventual goals of vUSPA, including:

      * Eagle: integrative overview and foresight, as well as clothed by the more peaceful of the traditional symbols in the original seal of the United States (olive branch, banner "E Pluribus Unum" - meaning "Of Many, One").
      * Dove: peace, non-violence, gentleness.
      * Olive Branch: ages old symbol for Peace. In "the Great Seal," where the eagle is also holding arrows in one talon and an olive branch in the other, the eagle has its head turned towards the olive branch, said to symbolize a preference for peace.
      * Globe: global citizen oriented.
      * Open Book: Right Use of Knowledge, Right Parenting, Right Use of Science
      * Circle of Symbols of World Religions: Ecuminicism of Beliefs.
      * 4 Directions Hoop: a symbol common to almost all Indigenous people of the Americas, but of other world cultures as well, The four cardinal points of the medicine wheel can be used to explain the complex reality of personal and community development.
