Seven Laws of Change for Spirited Bodies
The Original '83 version follows this later revision
The hierarchy of cause to effect in creation and manifestation on the physical plane, including any change of state or nature of existence, is: 1) thought, 2) emotion, and 3) the material world. Before this come the Soul-level directives. This may be thought of as concerning how humans create or manifest, but it also applies to divine manifestation. And the Divine is of course more powerful, but Divinity may not be so direct, let alone apparent, in circumstances where humans have been set to learn how to exercise Free Will. Which is what most circumstances on this planet are.
Between any two points, point A (where one IS) and point B (where one is going), there is an optimal and most overall energy-efficient path. Which is a path discerned via ones Free-Will and designed by the Higher Power/Soul/Higher Self. (From the view of any other person who is not on that same path, that same path may appear either straight or circumspect to whatever degree. And having the same path would be exceedingly rare anyway, if not in breech of Universal Law in the first place).
All energy(s) seeks balance or an even distribution in the realm of time and space. The manner of movement of energy between point A and point B depends on the type of resonation applied to the (one's) atomic structure, thereby determining its properties of magnetism or attraction. A Soul-Personality is responsible -- by conscious or uncounsious choice or non-choice -- for the creative energy one applies to oneself, to others, and to one's environment.
Applying force onto a life-form only from the outside will result in temporary change at best, an increase in determination to resist the force (consciously or unconsciously, by the one it is applied to), and an eventual return of that energy (from the place it was forced into) back to its source. Such external force usually lessens the chances of achieving the desired change in the long run - especially if there are ego's involved. And If it has to do with humans, it would be rare if ego's were not involved. Therefore...
Lasting Change comes only from within, through one's own exercise of Free Will. Hence, given this prerequisite, one can only provide to another the resources for change that the recipient willingly permits, accepts, and takes into ones experience. Such resources may include information, tools, motivation, opportunities, or a provided setting or energy field.
Internal sources (Energies) for constructive change are such as Faith and Persistance, Balance of Emotion and Creativity, Balance of Free-flow and Structure, Self-Honesty and Forgiveness, Compassion and Love-Wisdom, Appropriate Balance of Will and Surrender to God's Will for appropriate Discipline and Management, and increasing capacities for such as Seeing All as Christ, opening to Pure Awareness without Judgment, and Unity Consciousness.
Saying this does not change anything, Believing it may change the believer, Living it may change everything.

A Summary of a 3-part essay (c)Nov'94, previously published at "The Seeker" website (7'97)
1. The Essential Connectedness: All life is connected with all Life and with the SOURCE of all Life, directly via God's LOVE of/for all life.
2. To the body-mind, cells are the most basic source of physiological instruction from God (via the DNA)¹, and
... The Circulation of Divine energy through our bodies (via our thought, feeling, and action) is the only thing that does create, let alone heal, a cell, organ, system, living organism, perhaps any situation we perceive.
... Each living cell is a living bridge, a Chalice, by which the Father aspect of God has joined, and continues to join, with the Mother aspect of God in order to create life on earth. Each cell has access to it's original instructions, its "Divine Blueprint" -- and therefore has the potential, no matter what, to remember that original instruction for as long as it lives.
... This bridging connection is made stronger, that is the cell's doors open further to the Divine, via certain kinds of thoughts and feelings directed upon/within the cell, including unconditional love, whether through prayer, meditation, imagery, or any other activity that encourages a similar focus.
... Our focused awareness on our cells can serves to increase or decrease this Divine Energy flow, depending on our intent. In fact, the amount of God's healing energy flowing into our cells (and lives in general) depends on how much we allow -- via our conscious or unconscious messages to our cells.²
3. The Love-Connectedness: Each Being has the opportunity to:
... believe in, even know/feel the Essential Connectedness and
... believe in, even know (totally, on all levels) that one IS an extension, and potentially an embodyment, of LOVE via ones Open to LOVE & COMPASSION, and
... believe in, even know (totally, on all levels) self as a microcosm of all life and the SOURCE that s/he is LOVE-connected with, and
... believe in, even accept and know (totally, on all levels), and love the All of self as s/he loves and accepts the All of others.
4. Each Being, believing in the Essential connectedness, has the opportunity to know and feel oneself to such a thorough degree and totally love what s/he feels - no matter what - and so strongly that s/he feels/knows (totally, on Unconscious level, if not fully conscious) that God has the authority/ integrity/ strenth/ etc to SEE/FEEL TOTALLY ALL THAT ONE IS, such that one realizes his/her self-judgements for what they are -- old and no-longer needed means of self-motivation, and allows them to be replaced by the desire to Love others as self as unconditionally as s/he now feels being known and loved by God.
5. Each Being, believing in the Essential and Love-Connectedness, has the opportunity, when requested by a potential recipient of healing energy, to be in AGREEMENT with the intent & method & timing of any changes being asked for that are in agreement with God's Will, to the extent that one resonates fully with the intent and purpose of the recipient.
Each Being, so believing, has the opportunity to thus acknowledge his and the recipient's ALIGNMENT with Divine Love, Order, and Wisdom ( "...where two or more are gathered in His Name..." ), and verbally (aloud) INVOKE (commissions via the WORD of God, and thus "calls upon" ) the Divine energies for the INITIATION of AWARENESS in and for the recipient.
6. Further, Each Being, so believing, has the opportunity to know and feel others to such a thorough degree and totally love what s/he feels - no matter what - and so strongly, that s/he can, via this love, enhance in another person (who believes in the Essential Connectedness) the capacity to feel and know (totally, on Unconscious level, if not fully conscious) that God has the authority/integrity/strenth/etc to SEE/FEEL TOTALLY ALL THAT ONE IS, such the other person realizes his/her self-judgements for what they are -- old and no-longer needed means of self-motivation, and allows them to be replaced by the desire to Love others as self as unconditionally as s/he now feels being known and loved by God.
7. Further, Each Being, so believing, has the opportunity to TOUCH the noted recipient physically if possible, and/or via His etheric form as necessary, and convey a bio-magnetic charge³ that VIBRATES the etheric/physical atoms so that change can take place, and such that it is strong enough to PROVIDE ENERGY for the INITIATION/STIMULATION of the appropriate changes that the recipient's CELLS already KNOW (unconsciously at least) how to make/accept -- but until now the cells may have needed the charge, a REMINDER, or the recipients own PERMISSION (perhaps through forgiveness of self or other -- and now inspired by the above noted agreement with total acceptance and COMPASSION), so that now the energy moves from the CAUSAL level into CELLULAR vibration.
Each Being, so believing, has the opportunity to GIVE THANKS for all such opportunities, past, present, and future, for the expansion of Love on the Planet for the good of ALL, for the recipients increased resources for same, as well as for His/her own, all for the sake of LOVE and the furtherance of the Love-Connectedness.

¹ Each cell is *nuclear-God-powered* with far more efficiency than any human technology has ever attained, by factors multiplied.
² This is exceedingly well backed up exceedingly well in (the book) The Psychobiology of Mind-Body Healing, by Ernest Lawrence Rossi. Most notable is the research (as reported by Institute of Noetic Sciences) of one case of (one person having) MPD (multiple personality disorder), in which one alter personality could show every physiological evidence of diabetes, but when presenting another alter personality, she was diagnosed totally non-diabetic (with diagnosis during/after repeated switching of alter personalities).
³ 'bio-magnetic charge' -- Which may be that called Chi or Ki, or it may include that, or it may be other than that, but which is whatever works in accordance with the Will of God.

They all have their own rich meanings as related to the spiritual dilemma or paradox, balancing or synthesis of qualities (such as Yin & Yang), and healing transformation. Here, the Chalice is essentially a "cauldron" for the balancing and integrating of Humanity with the Divine - individually and communally. The "Chalice-Star" over the three traveling magi is used in my Solstice or Christmas Card design to represent our quest - in this earthly dimension of body, mind, and spirit - for the inner-most Source of one's spirit and faith -- whether that would be the Inner Christ, Inner Buddha, Inner Mohammed, or the Divine Mother's Spirit connecting All Life, etc.

I began my studies in multi-level self-healing when in the service, in Thailand in the Winter of '73. The focus then was on self-help psychology, consciousness, and eastern and western mystical perspectives. This continued through my university studies in Norman, OK '74-'79. 1980 took me into naturopathic studies, primarily nutrition and herbology when I lived in Oklahoma City. Not seeing the naturopathic doctor route as affordable at the time, I found direction via a five-evening massage course, Fall '83. That led to a six month professional practice, followed up with the training in Sante Fe, NM, '84-'85 (described in the next paragraph).
Since then I have practiced massage and/or healing facilitation for others, initially in Santa Fe, NM (during/after my training), then San Louis Obispo, CA, and Seattle, WA. This includes exploring personal challenges and self-healing methodology. A session may include various energy work modalities, Body/Energy-Awareness based Preventative Health Maintenance Instruction, or only Reiki or relaxation work in total silence. A client chooses based on whatever stress, pain, or concerns are present at that session. A client may request a "Body Pattern Reading," as well as various massage/bodywork therapies, all of which techniques are listed & described in the Body-Mind Integration Therapies Brochure. Individual, program, and 3-6 week interval-based rates are available.
My professional interests have primarily centered in three areas: 1) Body-Centered Psycho-Spiritual Process (as in "Hakomi" style of) counseling and bodywork, including as assessing an individual for the most efficient means of addressing connective tissue injury, short and long term, and the most efficient application of the results of that assessment (on physical and/or emotional levels);
2) in the basic hows & whys related to the storage & release of tension and "body memory" in the muscles and fascia. and in the related fascia memory storage dynamics - referring to the technical aspects of neuro-physical interface between connective tissue, emotion, and the brain);
3) "Chalice-Bridging" style chakra balancing - based in the perspective that the chalice, far more than just a cup in this interpretation, is about the human embodiment of Spirit into the three "lower bodies" (mental, emotional, and physical) which compose the "Body-Mind". Which is also a "cauldron" for the balancing and integrating of Humanity with the Divine - individually and communally.
My training includes over 1370 hours of classes and practicum, including with the New Mexico Academy of Massage and Advanced Healing Arts in Santa Fe, NM (1984-85), and with various accredited bodywork and therapy workshops (`86-present), as well as 100 hours training with the Alchemical Hypnotherapy Institute (1989), over 100 hrs apprenticeship with healing practitioner Robert "Mitra" (`85-`86), 150 hours apprenticeship with Silena Heron in Herbal Studies (`83-`84), Training, Certification, & Empowerment as Reiki Master (3rd Degree Johrei, 1991; Kundalini Reiki to 9th Level w/Gtunmo & Devic Template, 2004). BODY-MIND AWARENESS, at the core of preventive health awareness, is one of the most simple, efficacious, & cost-effective forms of HEALTH INSURANCE there can be. Hence, massage is far from just "a luxury item," and bodywork therapies can be indispensable for the healing of certain conditions.
MUSCLES RELATE TO ATTACHMENTS - to what we use to take our stance, to hold our place, to perceive and respond to our environment, and to extend who we are and/or want to be. Or used to be (in too many cases, perhaps). That speaks not only to the body's condition and function, but to how it communicates awareness of where one is along one's path (of becoming who one truly is).
THE BODY IS . . . among other amazing things, a unique communications system -- intimately linked with one's TOTALITY.
Establishing rapport with one's body can be a PATH to self realization.
ONE OF MY DREAMS is a society where/in all children are taught how to feel/see/read their own body-mind communications such that preventive health maintenance eventually becomes second nature. And actually, for the most part, they would be encouraged to re-awaken and build upon what I believe to be a NATURAL INCLINATION - conscious self-healing and continuous expansion of awareness.
And the above goes FOR ALL OTHER ALTERNATIVE THERAPIES, to the degree that one utilizes them to improve such awareness and causative/pro-active connection with one's body-mind, and to employ the most effective tools for maintaining/improving one's health under any given condition or circumstance.
