The art pieces that I show online have been compressed, resolution downsized, and/or watermarked as necessary to protect them, and yet make that alteration somehow artistically acceptable or even a part of the artwork. (Yes, I've found some of my work being sold w/o my permission.) Watermarks especially can challenge the detail and subtleties in the background and foreground - which aspects are primary values, perhaps *the* primary signatures, of my artwork.¹ I can in some cases make them a part of the artwork, but usually asks too much sacrifice of the very nature of my work. While I have done my best to preserve these primary values as I add the watermark signatures, an actual print of the original for a buyer would only include the "buyerMark" (my term?) that is unique to each buyer, and that is both custom located and *almost* invisibly embedded, so as to insure the artwork’s primary values are retained, as well as provide proof of ownership. Another consideration is having the buyer's portrait very subtley embedded. Or even more implicitly embedded with the inclusion of healing invocations or other affirmations - for a different style altogether of course. -cp, 11/19/09 ¹ The larger the print, the more this kind of subtlety can be appreciated - and that fact *seems* to stem from the nature of sacred geometry - It’s symmetric predisposition not only does not interfere with the asymmetry of the rendering -if not overly done- but seems to ‘appreciate’ and enhance it. It seems to be a structure that knows the value, loves, perhaps requires diversity - which I’m sure lends to its relationship with fractal dynamics - the 2-Dimensional rendered manifestation if you will, of what is known as chaos theory. The 3rd (and some say leading on into the 4th) Dimension correlation of that is probably born out in what is known as 'coherent frequency patterns' and PHI Harmonics relationship to Heart COHERENCE (in phase) and FRACTAL (attracting) charge.² (ref: Heartmath Institute) |

 Personal Quotes on Body-Mind Awareness [ cp, 12'07 ] BODY-MIND AWARENESS, at the core of preventive health awareness, is one of the most simple, efficacious, & cost-effective forms of HEALTH INSURANCE there can be. Hence, massage is far from just "a luxury item," and bodywork therapies can be indispensable for the healing of certain conditions. MUSCLES RELATE TO ATTACHMENTS - to what we use to take our stance, to hold our place, to perceive and respond to our environment, and to extend who we are and/or want to be. And the above goes FOR ALL OTHER ALTERNATIVE THERAPIES, to the degree that one utilizes them to improve such awareness and causative/pro-active connection with one's body-mind, and to employ the most effective tools for maintaining/improving one's health under any given condition or circumstance. WHY DOES BODY AWARENESS = OPTIMUM HEALTH INSURANCE ? And How does "Body-Parenting" relate to that in Body-Mind Integration ? |
